Founders Dilara Koçak and Hüseyin Şirin bring together decades of expertise in nutrition and food technology to create a new category: Upgraded Food.

Dilara Koçak is a renowned nutritionist with more than 30 years of experience, who has been advocating for sustainable nutrition solutions for decades. Her co-founder Hüseyin Şirin, a food engineer, brings the technological expertise needed to turn innovative ideas into market-ready solutions. Together, they launched The Good Wild – a brand with the ambition to revolutionise the global protein supply.
The Good Wild uses traditional methods such as fermentation and sprouting to transform legumes into highly digestible, nutrient-rich foods. This creates a healthy, resource-efficient alternative to animal products, offering an answer to some of the most pressing questions surrounding food security.

The packaging, too, reflects The Good Wild’s innovative spirit. In collaboration with Istanbul native illustrator Eda Gündüz, they created an award-winning design that unites authenticity with science – recognised with the AIAP Women in Design Award (AWDA).
